This is why Abercrombie & Fitch employees seem to work a lot, but not actually have money, according to them. Not only is minimum wage not ideal, but when so much of that wage is being spent on buying new pieces of clothing to wear to work, you’re stuck in a loop.
You need new shirts to wear on your new shifts, so you pick up some extra shifts to pay for them, but then need new shifts for those new shifts. It’s a trap!
