Didn’t you know? Abercrombie & Fitch is very serious about footwear. So serious, that it’s reported by A&F employees that if they don’t adhere to the exact requirements, employees will be either instantly sent home from work, or have to work the register barefoot.
The rationale is a little off, however. If they have to be behind the counter so no-one sees their shoes, then what’s the point of taking them off and being barefoot? That doesn’t really make sense. Maybe it’s punishment?
