This 91-year-old made history in 1964 when he became the first black actor to ever win the Academy Award for Best Actor. This was awarded to him for his efforts in the action movie, Lilies of the Field. Once he was awarded the greatest achievement he could ever receive, Sidney moved his attention to politics and has worked for the Bahamian government as well as UNESCO.
