You know in Mean Girls, how Gretchen Wieners keeps trying to make ‘fetch’ happen? Well, that was the tabloid press with the Kate/Meghan feud. When official photos of baby Archie’s christening were released, royal-watchers zoomed in on every detail until they noticed that Kate was wearing the same pair of pearl drop earrings that Princess Di had worn to Harry’s own christening. This, we were informed, was because she was trying to upstage Meghan. Or something.
