When Charles & Di got engaged, it seemed like Princes Charles was well out of his league. Sure, he was the future King – or so it seemed at the time. But he was already in his thirties, and not exactly a looker (those ears!), while Diana was a gorgeous, giggly teenager. You’d have expected him to be unable to believe his good luck.
