Very few things can ruin an otherwise easy flight than discovering that your seatmate has decided to forego basic hygiene. Even worse, if someone next to you is smelling a little bit fragrant, you can’t exactly crack open a window to get some air circulating.
Without a doubt, a stinky seatmate — whether they forgot to put on deodorant or they chowed down on a dish of garlic and onions before they boarded the plane — is arguably one of the worst things you can encounter on a plane.
