This cat was trying to reach the peak of the dresser, an insurmountable feat for all of kittenkind. That is why it looks so surprised and impressed to see another cat made it here first! It may have more to do with the nature of mirrors and its discovery of the never before seen, though.
This cute cat is just the perfect encapsulation of the curiosity and enigma reflections are to animals. It looks like it accidentally walked in on itself and is saying, “Oh shoot, whoops, my bad, this is your spot.”
