The great poets have described the evolution of the self as the lifelong accumulation of conscious thought and self-realization. This begins with one’s understanding of their own physical self, which usually occurs around childhood.
This cat had, by all means and measures, paid no heed to such theories but for one critical aspect. The poor guy never saw himself in a mirror. Blessed day, this cute poof has discovered he is in fact a bobblehead. Suddenly, having had a heavy head makes all the more sense.
