Jennifer had found a hero in Dominique, and was determined to be just like her. She took up tumbling, a form of gymnastics that involves performing floor techniques on a sprung runway. Jennifer took to tumbling immediately, taking part in the junior Olympics by the age of 10.
At age 11, she became the Illinois state champion in high school tumbling. Jennifer had seen her dream and made it happen, following in Dominique’s footsteps to become a premier athlete.
