One of the few women that you’ll see at the absolute upper echelon of the world’s wealth, Alice Walton is certainly doing well for herself. She began her career working in the banking industry before going on to create her own bank.
She’s been involved in a number of other ventures in her life, including some charitable, but we should keep in mind that most of her money derives from Walmart, created by her father. $11 billion in shares in the company doesn’t exactly hurt your net worth.
