One thing nobody tells you about before you get pregnant, is how much hormones can change your skin – for better or worse. And while some women say their skin was “glowing” and cheeks were rosy when they were expecting, other changes can occur as well.

Darkening of skin, pigmentation, and getting random, new skin tags on your upper body is actually very common. Due to the increased risk of hyper-pigmentation, it’s important to wear sunscreen throughout the pregnancy on any exposed body parts, even in the winter.
