[post_page_title]Not always an instant connection[/post_page_title]
Speaking of bonding with your baby, this is a really important point. When you become pregnant, everyone tells you you’ll “immediately fall in love” with your newborn child, that you’ll have an instant connection. But that’s not always the case. Sometimes it takes time to build that mother-child bond and fall in love with your baby.

Being a parent to a new baby can be stressful enough, so there’s no need to worry about not “feeling it” right away – it can take months, or even years (as some people enjoy different ages of their child). It is important, however, to seek help if you feel you might be experiencing Postpartum Depression (but more on that later).
