Laura had other things to worry about following her accident, which was tough on both of them. She had to struggle through relearning how to read, write, and speak properly. She was in constant pain as a result of her injury, and had to work through variations of short and long term memory loss.
It was not easy, and it wasn’t getting easier. Both of them had hoped that, over time, she would somehow regain her lost memories, and save their marriage.
