Although Bittencourt wasn’t suspected of traveling with her pets on the boat, The Sun claimed there were reports that one of her dogs was now missing. If the dog was also present on the boat that day, then it too is likely to have suffered the same fate its owner did.
The Sun also reports that just before the storm hit Bittencourt had posted a story to her Instagram. In the post, she was said to be smiling and enjoying her time on the boat before heading directly into disaster.
