Despite being extremely upset due to her mother’s actions, Gail slowly but surely understood her mother’s plight and why she was forced to do what she did. It was all due to the pressures of the world which we live in.
She realized that if she wouldn’t have done what she did, her lovely and happy family and her cheerful childhood would never have been fathomed into a reality. She learned to accept her mother for who she was, and forgave her for all that she did, despite believing that it was wrong.
