After much anxiety and a few patient weeks, the birth certificate finally arrived at Gail’s doorstep. She eagerly opened it and went through its contents. There were some letters on it, however, which left Gail shocked and utterly puzzled.
There was a section on the document which had the letters “col” on it. Gail had never encountered something like those letters ever before. Gail found this section very bizarre, and was unable to make anything of it. Hence, she decided to get clarification from the State of Louisiana itself, and wrote a letter to them.
