Kirsty Bertarelli is no stranger to being in the spotlight considering that she is a former Miss UK and also had a notable career as a songwriter. She is married to Ernesto Bertarelli, a Italian-born Swiss businessman who owned biotech giant Serono until 2007.
They met while vacationing individually in Italy and instantly fell for each other, getting married in 2000. They have three children and live in Switzerland. She is also a trustee of the Bertarelli Foundation, a private foundation founded by her husband which focuses on research in neuroscience and marine conservation.
