Naturally, Paris defended herself against the allegations and tried to explain the reasoning behind her words. According to her, she’d been speaking about guys who intentionally had unprotected intercourse to infect others with human immunodeficiency virus.
When she was talking about her disgust of the LGBT+ community, she was actually just referring to the people who did this. Some fans believed Hilton’s words while others questioned them. Unfortunately, regardless of who still supported her, the damage had been done. Her reputation was no longer what it used to be.
