Oh man, getting a passenger that just had a bad date. We feel that probably happens quite often for Uber drivers. So, they’ve probably become pretty good at dealing with the situation.
For first time Uber drivers that get this for the first time, it would be very awkward to figure out what to say next. All you could really do is just to say you’re sorry to hear that and move on. Or, to add some spice, you could say, “So, what was his podcast all about?”
