It’s never easy to tell someone that they have a bad odor. Most of us, when this happens, will just ignore it and move on. It’s even worse when it’s your friend, though, as you know you’ll be spending quality time with them.
It’s probably good to take the approach of this friend and let them down easy. It might not be a good idea to just say, “Hey, you really stink bro.” Taking the approach of this friend is something we can all learn from. It was quite clever, honestly.
