This is another vintage dating advice that made us giggle because of form, and not content – it is from the 1955 book “Dating Dos and Don’ts for Girls.”
The author lectures young women that they can’t “just talk all evening… especially if you hardly know your date.” They should think of something interesting to do instead of waiting for him to have all the ideas, so they should collect their “scatterbrains and put them to some useful purpose!”
