We love this rule of “do your dressing in your boudoir to keep your allure” not because we enjoy being mysterious, but because this author is assuming we have a boudoir.
In the current real state situation, we hardly even know any people who have enough closet space for their clothes, let alone a whole furnished room they use solely for the purpose of getting dressed in and maintaining their allure. If we had a boudoir, we wouldn’t be keeping our allure in it, we would be piling it with more clothes.
