This advice dates all the way back from the 1930s, but we definitely know people who still do this little trick today. The idea is to send yourself flowers, love letters, of even presents that will make other people think you are popular.
We’ve even seen this on television – remember that Friends episode where Joey reveals he usually has a gift sent out to his table by “a fan” when he is out on dates? If it worked for Joey Tribbiani, this dating advice might not be so outdated after all.
