Accessories are a fun and easy way to style your outfit and show the world a little bit of your personality, but it seems like some people have very strong feelings against them.
The San Francisco Call made it clear in 1912 that they do not like accessories – more specifically, earrings. The author wrote about a man for whom there were only two types of women – “those who were civilized and those who wore earrings.”
