As one of the last family get-togethers that Sharon got to attend, she got to witness history alongside her loved ones. Together, they watched as Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. Her sister Debra remembers this as a really nice moment that they all shared. Sharon’s mother also had a gift for her on this day.
Her mother gave her a hand-me-down rocking chair that she had used when Sharon and Debra were kids. Here hope was that Sharon would be able to use it with her child that she was pregnant with.
