While Sharon’s career was relatively short, that doesn’t change the fact that she quickly became an iconic celebrity that many people looked up to. But like any other young person in show business, she had her own idols that she looked to for inspiration. There were two women that she chiefly thought of as her idols: Faye Dunaway and Catherine Deneuve.
In Sharon’s lifetime, these two actresses were absolutely huge, and Sharon in particular aspired to be the “American Catherine Deneuve.” Both Catherine and Faye are acting to this day and are highly acclaimed.
