One thing that growing up with a father in the military did for Tate was to give her a broader perspective of the world. As a young girl and woman, Tate moved around to wherever her father was stationed.
That meant she had to move schools a lot, and as a result, Tate had a shy and reserved personality. The more famous Tate got, it seemed the more confident in herself she became, with international stardom seemingly the next step in her career.
