Although Tate’s ambitions for her acting career would have grown over the years, the star was a realist when it came to her talent. Tate admitted that she wasn’t going to be doing Shakespeare in her career, but she had made her peace with that.
Instead, the Hollywood star found her place in the acting world by performing in comedic roles. Tate looked for comedy movies and wanted to follow in the footsteps of Carole Lombard rather than Elizabeth Taylor.
