It seems that while the movie itself was a flop, there were a few good things to come from it. We can see in this move that perhaps the iconic dance move from ‘Dirty Dancing’ took its inspiration from this film.
There are also reports that Malibu Barbie was inspired by Tate’s character in ‘Don’t Make Waves.’ Worryingly, Tate almost lost her life while filming ‘Don’t Make Waves’ after getting tangled up in her parachute after jumping into a pool from a plane.
