You might have thought Polanksi would have gone easy on the woman who he was falling in love with, but that wasn’t the director’s style. Instead, he was just as hard on Tate as he was on everyone else on the set.
The director had gained a reputation for being tough to work for, and now Tate was finding that out for herself on the set of ‘The Fearless Vampire Killers.’ Polanski was reportedly so tough on Tate he even made her reshoot one particular scene 70 times.
