Netflix released “The Good Cop” in 2018 featuring Tony Danza as “Big Tony” and Josh Groban as “TJ” who both play (former and current) NYPD cops. Big Tony plays the role of an ex-cop who doesn’t exactly follow the rules.
He lives with his son TJ who doesn’t do anything BUT follow the rules. Watching this duo interact is what makes the series a comedy-drama. Although The Good Cop had potential, it presumably did not receive the amount of viewers needed for it to continue on to season two.
