The Netflix series “Lady Dynamite” portrays actress Maria Bamford as basically, herself. The story follows the life of a successful lady who goes through a phase of bi-polar disorder and tries to get back to herself.
Maria Bamford used many themes from her own life which she experienced herself, and brought it to the show in a comedic and lighthearted way. The show aired for two seasons until it got cancelled due to Netflix’s decision to cut back on some of their shows.
