Nowadays we have apps that can tell us everything about the temperature outside, the air humidity, and even the direction of the wind, but it’s still fun to learn “analog” ways of reading the environment.
According to this old school trick, you can estimate the time of the sunset by holding your hand in front of you so that your fingers (minus the thumb) are in between the sun and the horizon line. Each finger that fits in that space represents 15 minutes of time.
