For his 50th birthday, Smith knew he had to one-up the Victoria Falls jump that had the internet buzzing. With his kids Trey, Jaden, and Willow, wife Jada, and friend Alfonso Ribeiro in attendance, Smith boarded a helicopter.
He was then flown high over the Grand Canyon, at which point Smith jumped out. Thankfully, the jump went perfectly. Explaining his motivations, he said, “Life is hard. You might get hurt, your heart might get broken, you might lose your job, but you’ve still got to commit.” Boy, did he ever!
