Just who is to blame for the fish fraud? It is quite obviously very prevalent in the food industry, so whose responsibility is it? At some point in the food supply chain there is mislabelling happening, and it is actually very hard to figure out who is responsible.
For example, restaurants may not be to blame because they serve fish that they purchase from suppliers, and these suppliers will be purchasing their stocks from fisheries. So at what point is the fish being mislabelled?
