Jennifer is a teacher at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, and she believes that learning needs to be interesting and fun for it to really make an impact. In order to appeal to her biology students, Jennifer decided that they were going to take part in an all-important experiment to engage them in the topics they were learning.

A planned experiment

The experiment was going to be a hands-on study, testing and identifying numerous sources of fish in the local area. Jennifer wanted the motivation behind the experiment to remain a secret for now because she wanted to wait until the results were in to explain why it was so important. Jennifer never could have expected the results they were going to find.
