Either this grocery store was subjected to a horrific flood, or people have been disposing of their shopping carts in the worst possible way. There must be at least a dozen of these lying in the water, causing havoc for anything that lives down there.
Dumping carts like this can destroy aquatic habitats, especially when so many of them are thrown away. Why did people even dispose of them in the first place? It’s not like carts are something that you only use once before getting rid of them.
