If there is one thing may older people would tell younger people it would be to enjoy their youth while they have it. This young man is conscious of the fact that he looks pretty young and wants James to make him appear less child-like.
Maybe he’s in his thirties, is always ID checked when he goes to a bar and he’s sick of looking young. He’s called upon James’ talents to make him look less like a child, and now he looks as though he’s due to retire soon.
