Although Dave Chappelle has since come back with a bang, this comedian actually retired back in 2005. He had spent much of his career performing for other people around the globe without really seeing any of it in the process, so he decided back in 2005 to take a break and use his wealth wisely.
Despite the fact that he probably spent a huge amount of money on seeing the world and enjoying a peaceful break, he’s not doing too badly with $42 million in the bank. Things could definitely be worse.
