After gaining instant fame from his brief stint on American Idol in 2004, William somehow managed to create a career for himself in entertainment. He conjured up a cult following from his less-than-impressive performance of Ricky Martin’s She Bangs, and in the years after, he even landed a record deal from which he released three albums.
However, in 2011, he announced his retirement from show business and he now works as a technical crime analyst at Los Angeles Sheriff Department.
