‘Northern Lights’ wasn’t supposed to be anything more than your average romantic drama movie on Lifetime. However, the film ended up becoming infamous because of the relationship that spawned from it.
Co-stars LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian took their onscreen love and turned it into real chemistry on the set, much to the annoyance of their partners. LeAnn was married to Dean Sheremet at the time, while Cibrian was with Brandi Glanville. Both relationships ended once the affair came to light, and that’s when the pair made their love official.
