As far as packaging goes, this gum was definitely the best. The gum consisted of three different flavors, but this wasn’t why people loved them so much. Ouch! bubble gum was styled exactly to look like it was a packet of bandaids, and they were super popular among the teens at the time.
It came in a metal container, so people had somewhere to store their gum or anything else they might want to store. As if this couldn’t get any better, it was also sugar-free, so parents didn’t feel guilty for buying it as a treat.
