In the mid-2000s, the nation’s favorite snack was discontinued. Fruit String Things were, and still are, so very popular that there is even a petition to bring them back to stores today. They were not only tasty, but they were extremely fun to play with.
Kids would spend hours playing with them, and it kept them full and entertained all at the same time. One question we do have, however, is why the name? We can’t decide whether they made it memorable and bad on purpose, or they really couldn’t come up with a more creative name.
