A close friend of both John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan allegedly relayed exclusively to ‘Closer Weekly’ that the couple had broken up due to irreconcilable differences. The friend elaborated that Meg will always love John, and does not put any blame onto the singer.
She apparently agonized over this decision, which was a heartbreaking one for her to make due to the profound love she feels towards him. Yet, as they were not on the same page anymore, Meg was forced to make the difficult decision to end the relationship.
