First performing as an actor on the live stage, Alan Rickman first graced us with his presence in the movie Die Hard. From there, Alan developed a knack for playing the villain. Most people today know him as the potions master from the Harry Potter series, Severus Snape.
In real life, according to sources, Alan was an exceedingly kind person who could always make a room full of people laugh. Unbeknownst to the general public, Alan was diagnoses with cancer in 2015, and he died less than a year later.
