Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors, could arguably be described more as a poet than a rock star. More than delivering a wicked concert, Jim would spill his heart out on stage.
This photo of Jim pictures him with his girlfriend, Pamela Courson, only a couple weeks before his death. The two are sitting at a classic Persian cafe, and enjoying an adult beverage. Jim’s final resting place is in this city, and thousands of people flock there year round to see the poet’s grave.
