David Bowie was one of the biggest musical acts of the last 100 years, and right up until he passed away, he was still trying to push the boundaries. This image was taken in 2015 during the premiere of Bowie’s musical ‘Lazarus.’
It’s thought to be his final public appearance as he battled a terminal diagnosis of liver cancer in his last years. That didn’t stop him from making music and his final album, ‘Blackstar,’ is filled with references to his own mortality.
