Any TV pilot is usually produced under trial and error, and ‘The Fall Guy’s first episode featured a few cast members who were only in that one episode. The show is known to feature its fair few cameos, and in the pilot, Jody Bank’s character is played by Lee’s wife at the time, Farrah Fawcett.
She would later be replaced by Heather Thomas after Lee and Farrah divorced not long after it aired. The pilot also featured a performance from the Oscar-winner James Coburn, who was one of Lee’s best friends at the time.
