If Rachael and John were feeling a little cramped in their New York City apartment, they soon found a way to fix it. The couple ended up buying the neighboring apartment too, this time for a little less than they paid for the first one, at $1.25 million.
It meant that they now had double the space, and all it took was a door to make the two apartments join together. Although it meant their home was bigger, the second apartment is mostly used for housing the couple’s guests.
