If there is one thing that Rachael is passionate about other than cooking, it is animals. The cook has never hidden how much she loves our four-legged friends, and in 2012 she donated $500,000 to an animal charity following Hurricane Sandy.
Rachael wanted the animal charity to be able to build a shelter to protect animals that were affected by the devastating natural disaster. In 2008 Rachael also created her own pet food brand after sharing her recipe for her beloved pooch with the world.
